Why This Workshop
Classroom discussion is a powerful tool for increasing learning outcomes, and productive discussion strategies are among the most powerful techniques in a teacher’s instructional toolbox. How can educators harness this power to boost student comprehension, critical thinking, and engagement? This workshop provides strategies for facilitating meaningful discussions that encourage students to express ideas clearly, build on each other’s contributions, collaborate with peers, and listen actively.
