Why This Workshop:
All students benefit from explicit comprehension instruction in order to become proficient readers of grade-specific fiction texts including chapter books, short stories, narrative essays, and read alouds. Learn how to plan daily lessons that incorporate oral language skills, background knowledge, vocabulary, and story structure to support robust comprehension.
